Beth Galic

President 

Beth Galic is an accomplished professional currently serving as the President of the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA). With extensive experience in the manufacturing industry—particularly in water treatment, chemical, and injection molding sectors—Beth has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration within the industry.

Under her leadership, BAMA has expanded its impact in the Tampa Bay region by creating valuable networking opportunities, organizing industry events, and providing resources that empower local manufacturers. Her expertise in marketing has been instrumental in elevating the association’s visibility, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and enhancing member engagement. Beth’s leadership has driven increased member satisfaction, stronger community ties, and strategic growth for the organization.

Beth’s involvement with BAMA began as a member of the Board of Directors, where she served for two years. During that time, she was actively involved in the Programming Committee, helping to plan and execute a wide range of initiatives including educational tours, fundraisers, and community events.

In addition to her work with BAMA, Beth Galic contributes her time and expertise through various leadership roles, including serving on the Board of Directors for CareerSource Pasco Hernando and Soroptimist Pasco, as well as on the Advisory Board for the Florida SBDC at USF and the St. Petersburg College (SPC) Engineering Technology Advisory Committee. Through these positions, she plays an integral role in shaping workforce development, supporting women and community initiatives, and guiding educational programs to align with industry needs.

Beyond her professional achievements, Beth is a passionate advocate for children. She leverages her marketing experience to raise awareness about issues affecting children and to influence positive changes in policy and public perception. Her advocacy work includes community outreach, public education, and collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize the needs and rights of young people.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Her diverse background, combined with a strong foundation in leadership, marketing, and advocacy, makes her a dynamic force in both the manufacturing industry and the broader community.

Karlin Housen

Association Assistant

Karlin is an accomplished event professional with over 12 years of experience in both corporate and non-profit event sectors, reflecting BAMA's commitment to professional development and innovation. She holds a degree in Marketing and Publications from Ashford University, along with a certification as an Event Professional from the University of Florida. Karlin brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique flair to every event she organizes.

Her journey began in Brooklyn, NY, where her Caribbean heritage sparked a vibrant passion for culture and community. Karlin understands the importance of networking and collaboration within the manufacturing sector and is excited to share her extensive skills and passion for creating memorable experiences that will enhance events fostering these vital connections.

After relocating to Florida in search of palm trees and sunshine, Karlin discovered her true calling in event planning, a passion that has only deepened over the years. Supported by her loving husband and two children, she manages to balance her professional life with a nurturing spirit. Karlin is often found tending to her cherished garden, where each plant is affectionately named and cared for. Karlin is dedicated to cultivating a thriving community for manufacturers in the Tampa Bay region, where she plans to apply her expertise.
